StarVillage brings back the sounds of a golden era of Sri Lankan music. Born in Australia, these boys grew up surrounded by rich Sinhala music and cultural values. They have sharpened their talents over many years of dedication and influential teachers. Under the leadership of Dinuja P Gangoda backed by his brothers and cousin, they recently held Deepashika 2014: a landmark show never before seen of its type. The chance to re-live old memories through the beauty of classical Sri Lankan music, presented by a passionate group of young musicians moved spectators to tears. “I felt like a floating cloud, It was an amazing event”, were among the many enthusiastic comments.

StarVillage’s mission is to re-unite with our cultural heritage through music. We aim to keep authentic Sri Lankan music alive in the younger generation.
